How does this event work?
That's easy! Your group sends ten of its toughest and strongest members to tug their hearts out in your groups' honor.

What is RIT's relationship with Hillside?
RIT's relationship with Hillside Work Scholarship Program dates back to President Emeritus Simone's desire to work closer with the Hillside Agencies to offer opportunities to students who are disadvantaged. Through this program, RIT provides up for $300,000 each year in scholarships to students who have completed the Hillside Work Scholarship program and have been accepted to RIT. -Karen A. Barrows, RIT Chief of Staff

How are funds generated for Hillside?
All proceeds from the registration fee go directly to Hillside and United Way.

What does your group have to do?
Just show up and have a great time! There are no other obligations other than to pay your teams registration, which will go towards the events cost, Hillside, and United Way. So mark your calendars and register or bring the form to the event. Remember: your team cannot compete unless the registration has been paid prior to tugging.
